Im heading down to the recruiters to turn in my paper work very soon, it came down to firefighting in the airforce and applying to the police department,but due to some stupid fucking decisions I made earlier this year,ie drinking and driving and drug use,all which must be disclosed because they polygraph you on it, I am not eligible to apply to any police department for 3 years,and by then I could be in and out of the military with all the experience i need to be a firefighter.

I gotta go for this career job as doing piss ass jobs doesnt cut it for me,I must have a passion for what I do,and these are the only two I am passionate about.

wish me luck guys ,Ill keep you posted on my enlistment progress

kick ass bro. great decision. everyone loves firemen. a guy i work with is a cop and he regrets it, wishes he was a fireman instead. everyone hates cops.

well i heard the airforce has great living conditions. the navy was trying to adopt there ways but they fell short was usual. going in the military is a tough decision. glad i did it. it changed my entire life. make the best of it and choose your friends wisely. just because your in the military doesnt mean the other guys are good guys. they will take you down with them. so like i said, choose them wisely. good luck and congrats.
