I think is makes people more secure. They can talk as much shit as they like and don't have to worry about some guy walking up to them on the street and beating them into oblivion. Unless you live in NYC that will probably happen anyway.

if they posted their face since it is possible for someone they know to see it, they can feel more inhibited and less comfortable just chilling out and being themselves
