Frisky said:well considering i never had a daddy in my life, lol.... its more of an occupy my kids and get them involved kinda thing. Its a daily chore, a daily ritual, a daily activity we can all do together. Though of course I won't be running this said horse in the rodeo, we can all experience the thrill of the training, the feeding, the upbringing.
IMO its a growing experinece for us all, some family time. Something that all three of us would love to experience togther. We all love the outdoors, love animals... what better way to spend our evenings?

Are you gonna keep her in your yard?Frisky said:hahahah

I do want to ride a mechanical bull though, thats soon to come... details later![]()

Frisky said:female... pretty stubborn lil bitch from what I hear, but they make the best roping horses and thats what I'm buying her for. Also gonna try to get a young stud in the near future...![]()

HumanTarget said:dumbasses and your impulsive purchases. you do realize they eat and need space to run? need grooming? it's not a corvette, where you can toss a canvass over it and just jump in it and ride it when the urge arises.
reading and doing are 2 different things. i helped my ex care for her sisters horse. it was miserable shit.StickFigure said:My daughter has read every possible book she can find on Caring for and owning a horse. I would never go in to something like this blind. In Colorado, I plan on buying a nice size chunk of property so there will be plenty of space for them.
i wasn't directing that towards you, btw. see, you're a man and will prolly wind up taking care of this animal. but these ladies will eventually have to hire a man like me to "take care" of the problem that once was a horse.StickFigure said:My daughter has read every possible book she can find on Caring for and owning a horse. Frisky said:oh and btw... I cared for three German Shephards, im talking grooming feeding and walking daily after my divorce. I did all this on my own as well as the training. I'm no squemish bitch, ill get into the grime of things without hesitation. I will never own an animal and then not take care of it. If I take on a responsibilty, no matter if I hire someone to take care of it or not, ill be there to make sure its done. The main reason I have my S/O boarding this horse is becasue ... first.. he wants to, second he has the means to... has extra stalls etc, third will be roping with her therefor his bond with her will be much more important than mine, forth he knows a ton more than me about caring for horses.
I will suck up every bit of info that i possibly can from him so that I soon can have my own stall for my daughter but until then i have to tag alone and do what ever I can without being on site.
