Started at 218 at my heaviest and at or above 25%. I'm 201 at around 10-ish% now.

I know what you mean! I treated my self last night with some bison meat.

perhaps i should (try to) clarify my remark....peeps on elite generally shoot for a much lower bodyfat level than people in the real world.....the "shredded" low low bodyfat look is admired and desired by most eliters.

in the real world, this look is sometimes thought of as unhealthy and undesireable. the way jnevin looks in the "after" pic is what most "people on the street" would find attractive and desireable.

it was not my intention to damn jnevin with faint praise!

i personally am not a fan of the ultra low bodyfat look that is popular with most eliters; i would be extremely happy to resemble jnevin's "after" pic.

Presently, yes. Have been for 2 months. I hopped on when I got down to 15%. I didn't plan to, I just came across some gear and was thinking I'd do it maybe this summer. I got impatient.

Slammed for what? lol We all know how hard it is to make gains in the gym. If one of us does it, then it's a victory. props.


Plus it's an inspiration to get off our asses for those of us that need it. I gotta get back into the gym after months off.

Do you deadlift? Reverse curls, maybe? Heavy shrugs? (for forearms) Some muscles just don't want to grow. They look OK from where I'm sitting.

It's the top of them that won't grow. I do all of those but shrugs (they give me stingers).

What kind of cycle were you on?? I'm about the same now as you were 7 months ago, and so far have been going all natural. I've basically hit a standstill though on getting anymore results!! Maybe you could give me some tips!!
 
Great transform. Are you looking at keeping going (ie to or sub 10%) or are you going to maintain what you've got? And second for your cycle.
 
Keep at it! It just takes commitment to yr body and respecting it...

Don't over do it, Do what you can and you'll get what you want...

Go with the flow...

anyone can starve themselves down to a 185 lb. physique. like you, for instance, you will always be a comic relief of sorts. you'll find yourself a bigger dude that you can play valet for, kinda like Franco did with Arnold. you'll put oil on him, brush his hair, tell him how rippling his muscles are.....you'll always be someone's bitch. how does that feel?

I think you made good progress. But I've never in 15 years of personal training with bodybuilders and atheltes seen a human being at 10%bf without their abs clearly showing... doesn't have to be chissled, but at 13-14% your abs show. So I'm not so sure on this one
