I'm 33 and I work at a call centre 9-5 and as a doorman 2 nights a week.....that is basically my social life, as my friends are having kids/getting married etc and their lives are changing. (Also I am desperate for the extra cash) The problem is that whilst I enjoy the venue where I do the door I am looking (although I try not to show it) for a relationship....however in the last year I have had brief flings but they have never developed into a relationships. I get the odd girl asking me for my phone number but they either don't ring or muck me around....I am meeting girls who are shit faced who go for doorman....I just don't know what to do to meet someone decent....I am really past the clubbing stage these days as when I do go to the occasional club it just feels so depressing!
A lot of women will also have a stereotypical view of doorman that they are thugs/big heads/out to shag anything plus I really struggle to meet women in their late 20's/early 30's who are single!
I don't have a problem with dating or approaching women or holding a conversation but I really would like to meet someone in a different setting than I am at the moment.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
