Hey this is the response I recieved after commenting how bad this womans 'fat loss site' is, someone tell me if im right or not that this is the reason americans are still fat because they follow advice like this

Hi,

The theories about food combining (not mixing fruits with fats, etc.)
have no scientific base. They are just that - theories. There is no
scientific evidence that combining foods or eating them in certain
order has any effect on weight loss. Calories are calories, no matter
when and how they are eaten.

Unless you are a diabetic, there is nothing wrong with eating simple
sugars. It all comes down to total calories. Sugar, like everything
else, has calories, and will make you gain weight if you eat too much
of it (same way as you'll gain weight if you eat too much of
anything). But eating a piece of cake will certainly not make you gain
weight.

Low-fat/high-carb/high-fiber diet is the only diet recommended by
American dietetic association and American Heart association. This is
the only diet that has been scientifically proven to help with weight
loss, and to be good for your health.

Best regards,

Melanie
