If youve been off roids long enough...

If youve been off roids long enough do your receptors/body clear up as if it was your 1st cycle again? Say the last time I did gear was 2000, and that year all i did was 2 cycles, one 8 week cyp at 500mg/wk, and later EQ 400mg/wk 12 week. That was the last time i touched any gear. If I start again 9 years later is it just like doing gear for the first time?

last cycle i extended and extended and after a while my body adjusted to the gear, the tren stopped giving me nightsweats, my results halted, i maintained but defenently didnt feel like i did 3-4 weeks onto the cycle

idk for sure but i believe your receptor sites are constantly being replaced. what i think this means is while you're on cycle they become less responsive over time because they get used to the heavy load of anabolics hence the slowing gains effect. that being said i think all your receptors have been replaced many times over so they should be pretty receptive to any new substance you introduce.

don't quote me on this. this is just what i think i remember from a while ago.

at any rate, even if it's not like your "first time" again, you'll still see some outstanding results if you're willing to work for them. just like any other cycle really.

I wasnt talking about staying on gear and it still being effective. I mean if the last time i did gear was 9 years ago, if i start doing gear again now is it just like im a roids virgin all over again because so much time has passed.

well that ties along with waht you are saying, the longer you are on the less effective your receptors are, you take along break like 9 years such as yourself and im guessing your receptors will be newborn "virgins" again

yeah it should but it depends on your body chem and how your body operates have you had any infections or diseses latly when was the last time you were sick?

what does that have to do with anything? i hardly get sick by the way

If you have more muscle, you're closer to your limit and results won;t be as dramatic. And realize, you're older. However, after a 9 year break, your receptors should be fresh as a daisy. Enjoy.

which limit are you talking about, natural limit?

so youre saying if i take the exact cycle i took 9 years ago i wont get the same effect now and would have to take more?
so whos right, you or nelson

It depends on how you classify it.

You can say that the receptors are always as responsive. Just as you'll always respond to aspirin if you have a headache. But muscle gain is more than receptor acceptance. So what causes the big gains in the beginning -- fresh receptors, or the fact that you've never been enhanced before and the body reacts so well? Or...is the reason results slow down because of receptor acceptance or genetic limitation kicking it? It's kind of a moot point because the results are the same.

Having said that, I do believe there is a certain amount of tolerance developed to any drug and the the more you do, in both dosage and duration, the greater the tolerance. In that regard, juicing ought to feel like a big boost after a long layoff.

Pretty much. I lean on the side that the receptors do not down reg. Tonight i am being lazy and do not feel like explaining it all lol

The last time I ran anything till a couple months ago was three years ago. I started sust and tren and I blew up like hell. But had to quit again due to health reasons. Oh and I forgot. I never even started training either. Didn't get start off.

are you saying you took a cycle of sauce and tren without even working out?

And here we go. I'm not even going into it Dave. 6 weeks of loading my system while at the same time finishing healing up. But let me ask this. Are there any less health risk in training while on gear than not?
