If You're Ever In Sacramento...

Marina and I cannot recommend highly enough this "little" gem of a restaurant in Folsom called the Bidwell Street Bistro.

We found this place about 3 years ago and have been dining there fairly regularly since. They're Zagat rated and the cuisine, service, ambiance has been "top shelf" and consistent every time we've been and we go about 3-4 times/year.

It's not a "cheap date", but its worth it. We've never had a bad dish and their wine selection is par excellence. Casual attire as well. Check it out if you're ever out that way.

We have not, but after looking at their menu might just have to take an extra 15 minutes and try them. We go to Folsom as its only ~40 minutes from home. Sac is about 15 more minutes. Thanks for the tip!

Sure thing Nan. Tonight I'm preparing Thai Fresh Rolls w/ a homemade Peanut Sauce, Chicken Satay, and a spicy vegetarian Thai Basil Eggplant (one of my "signature" dishes).

We were just out in Roseville last weekend at the Galleria. We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory since I've had a few people mention how great their food is. Needless to say...we were very disappointed. For starters, if I'm going to have a Greek Salad...I WANT SOME FUCKING KALAMATA OLIVES IN IT MOTHERFUCKERS!

We don't get out to Roseville too often, but I'll keep your recommendation in mind. Thanks.

Cheesecake's menu is like 50 pages lol; they pretty much try to make everything. meaning no one item is going to be that good or special.
