selling supplements is difficult. and the govt is always trying to categorize supplements as drugs so they can control the industry. McCain wanted to call all supplements drugs--something I found out much later than the elections. Freedom of choice is under attack and although I agree with having a choice on everything, the feds would like nothing more than regulating every single product in the world.
Proteins have to be sold within a fast timeframe because even when sealed in a jar, the contents start to smell funny after a few months.
Supplements can be expensive to put together and there's usually a minimum order requirement. These companies get you by making you buy the complete product from them...meaning no self supplying the bulk powders to cut costs.
If you have an investor, being an instant success doesnt sound important. I'd want to set up next to a gym so you can take advantage of people coming and going.
