If you were rich, would you break shit more often?

My ex did. It was no big deal for him to buy another television, so he broke one every time he got pissed/jealous/upset. What a childish thing to do!

They just shatter glass everywhere. One day I refused to clean it up after him and assumed he would clean it if I didn't. He didn't, and the maid showed up and saw the thing busted up everywhere. She helped me clean it up.Oceano said:

Pretty sad person really. Underneath it all, he doesn't have a bad heart, but alcohol turns him into a selfish monster. I wish he would get better, but I don't think he ever will. He will sadly live and die that way.Oceano said:

All of the well-off people that I knew didn't behave that way, quite the opposite. They were all self-made so would actually clip coupons and "get off" on a sale. LOL
My husband and I are in no way rich but we do "ok". We love to go to outlets, the 99 cent only store, buy things from E-bay and yes, we go to yard sales and use coupons, etc.
The only difference is that when you have a bit more money you can be a bit more choosey as to when you will pinch pennies and when you will splurge. My hubby would think nothing of spending what I feel is an outrageous sum of money to buy something for me if he wanted to make me happy, whereas my attitude is, "Man are you high?... For THAT MUCH MONEY THAT PURSE HAD BETTER BLOW ME."

Ohhhhhh....tell him to mail the shoes and purses to ME. LOL. Whodathunkit? My ex used to question where I spent my every penny, especially if it was for me. Now I have to reel my husband in because he would break the bank buying stuff for me... My sister laughs at this too.
I would STILL have a hard time spending over 100$ for a pair of shoes or a handbag no matter how comfortable we get. If it was for him (lol at the purse) I wouldn't care, but for me... He would have to majorly twist my arm.
then I would give in, just to make him happy, y'know.

Agreed - I've been poor way enough and there is NOTHING great about it.
Being comfortable is waaaaaaaaay better and now that I have kindness in my life, being waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable will only make it better.
