If you were hiring a wedding photographer............

I'd pay more for better quality and composition. I want a photographer that can really capture people's emotions. Would want your standard posed photographs and then tons of candids. My friend just got married and had a wonderful photgrapher. This lady ran around all day and night. My friends had flown up to her home in Maine to meet her. While they were there she took them on a walk through her gardens and just started taking random photos of them when they weren't paying attention. These test photos really captured feeling and emotion. They were great. At the wedding this women had unlimited energy... ran around with about 4 cameras around her neck at all times. Took mainly black/white, some color and some digital. I was in the wedding so I got to spend a lot of time with this women. I was really impressed. Can't wait to see the proofs.

Let me see, my cameras with lens weigh at least ten pounds. Four cameras with lenses costs about $10,000. A trip would be expensive indeed.

That would've been bad. Yeah, she was energy plus. This crazy 50-something french lady. Lives in Maine half the year and France the other half. She was really entertaining.

I can only think of one reasoon for a formal wedding and that's the gathering and intoxication of friends.

So many people seem to invite too many unimportant people to their wedding. I'd still like a nice, gorgeous and traditional wedding. I only want very close friends and family there to share the day.
