If you were 23 what would you do with your life right now?

I am happy with the way things worked out for me. I needed to make all the mistakes in my early to mid twenties which is what motivated me to be a better overall person by my later twenties.

I was doing exactly what I wanted to be doing back then. Had a degree, was living abroad, making good money, fit from jogging every day. Had a lot of dinner parties and a long distance boyfriend. At 25- now that's a different time. When I got back I should NOT have moved in with my bf and gotten myself co-dependent. I should have dated around. He was my first bf and I thought "this is it". It may still be "it", but it was just not good to go in like that w/o much to compare by. W/o comparison any guy is just fabulous. I should have experienced other relationships good and bad.

Ah, the future is just so hard to see when you're young and full of hope and ignorance is bliss. Rule of thumb: Whether a career or a relationship- ask yourself this: Is that person/job helping you be the best person you can be, and, are they holding you back in any way? Will you grow and progress together? Or, is the job/person just a learning/stepping stone?

I would drink lots of beer and fuck hundreds of whores.

Travel around the world, work when I need money, stay in hostels, travel some more.

Fuck Long Term Relationships, Fuck having a kid at 19 and school will be there whether I'm 21 or 31. Fucking grow and learn and experience life.

I didn't do it when I was a young woman and I'm reasonably confident I will probably never be able to do it.

... and for those naysayers who tell me not to give up, that it still may happen, um, no, not unless husband and or I hit the lottery, no, it ain't, not in this lifetime.

stock market or medical school...

the stock market does not require a degree, but you will be limited in what you do..

medical requires massive school and it's a lifestyle..

but you asked for opinions..

if you were 35.. i'd say lawschool, = retirement goals kick in hard, and there is much you can do..

^^ U serious breh?

totally...i feel a very strong compulsion to give something back to my country, in a tangible way...but, i'm too fuggin' old (and i have way too many responsibilities) to really do much about it at this point in my life. but, if i was 23? yes. absolutely. at 23, i was out of college for a year and i lacked direction in my life...given the state of affairs in today's world? i would have almost certainly joined some branch of the service.
