I've been watching these "lockdown" shows all night about prison life. It got me thinking about how I might survive if I ever went away(not that I ever plan on it,hahaha) but I'm not sure. Dont know if I'd be the loner who everybody wonders about, or if I'd find some of the arian brothers to take me in and help me stay out of shit. I suppose maybe they'd look at somebody who was a loner as the guy to go after? But then again, maybe they'd think you might be a bad motherfucker if you dont need anybody to hang with. I'd lift weights of course, if they didn't have anything I would make shit to work with or find a way to work my muscles through pushups and stuff. But then again, I may have to fuck with people to get more food. I'm a bigger dude, surely I could find some bitch in there to scare into giving me some of his food. Not sure if I'd just try to lay low or be the baddest fucker in there. What would you guys do, seriously? Maybe those who have been there can chime in too. Can you get supplements in there? Enough calories to grow?

If you don't align yourself with a gang you have no chance, unless you're under 23 hour lockdown.
 
go in like a bullet come out like a bullet. keep your mouth shut. do not accept anything from anybody. be respectful but not servile. it has been 20 years since i did time. it was the deep south and no gangs, probably different now.in the day you stay out of the "drug game". drug game = homo game in the joint. i was 170lb and 18 my first time but i was connected to veeery powerful ppl including some ole south politicians and i was like a duck flat footed and didnt give a fuck. if you go lookin for a "bitch" to push around you are in deep shit already. this aint t.v. or hbo. attitude and respect are everything. some of the most dangerous motherfuckers i have known were very small in build and stature.

if u get sent - right away try to build rapport with the guards and let them know 'hey, send me minimum good people area right off the bat - give me prison details - and you'll never ever have to worry about me ever again'. make them a deal.

chances are - before you get 'corrupted' they'll throw you in a more safer minimum restriction area. assuming of course you're not in there for murder, rape, etc :)

Borly, you're misinformed. In my state everybody goes to a max security prison where they run a formula on your criminal record and send you to the the appropriate prison, the guards have zero input.
 
i dunno much about prison but if its anything fucked up id probably end up shanked and dead really fuckin fast. i just wouldnt be able to let myself take shit from anyone and would probably just end up getitng killed for it
