All right people, your advice to the guy is right <dont do it> but you technical knowlege is way off.
1. most drug tests use gc/ms methods wich tell them exactly what substance they have found. You can't tell them "oh yeah, I think I ate some poppy seeds or some shit like that. They break the substance down to the molecule. Its called Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
2. the amount of time it is detectable in your body differs. There are to many factors to list but a few are
- how often you have used it.
- how much you used
- how long its been since you used
- how much fluid intake you have had
- how active you have been <excercise>
- how fast your metablism is
- ect. ect ect.
I know of a guy who hadn't used in 2 weeks and he tested at 3 times the legal limit of amphetamines and methamphetamines.
They do test you for both, not just amphetamines and yes, there is a difference.
This stuff also aplplys to any substance you have used.
