shit balls, Otsego does not sound familar but I could easily be mistaken about sunny lake. I dunno how far back this was...8-10 years probably...I remember there was a tornado through there, almost leveled our cabin. the only grocery store around really was an IGA.


I will ask my parents the name of the lake, and the exact town. Gaylord might have been a surrounding town, but I remember that name distinctly.

I conferred with my dad and he said the town was Glenny, MI where we owned the cabin

so apparently im on crack, maybe the cabin we rented at one point was in Gaylord

in my town, convinently called Gaylord for your joking pleasure, the names mean a lot more cause the pop is under 6,000...so you always know somebody

The local paper for the neighborhood where I grew up publishes the names and addresses of people arrested for the week. They published everything from traffic violations to drug arrests to murder arrests. My parents would get the paper every Saturday to see if they knew anyone.

I think the Washington Post publishes the arrests w/o personal information in the special sections that come out on Thurs for the local cities. Sometimes the Feds publishes a list of people they seized stuff from along with their personal information and reason for the seizure (mainly drugs, though I did see some child porn seizures).

Thats pretty much the same as it is in my town.
I had a front page column when I was in HS... I got off eventually do to complete lack of evidence. Of course, the paper never printed that..
