If you found out your spouse had an affair. What would you do?

LOL at whore's logic. It is true through. In my case my ex wife cheated and had one of two choices. say it was all because of me and my faults and thats why she ran to another man. Or she was a whore. I tend to agree with the second although I was not perfect. I was willing to work on myself.

Cheating is 100 percent the fault of the cheater. So is addiction. No two ways to spin it.

Oh crap! This thread isn't hypothetical.

So, she cheated on you, then talked shit to your daughter instead of apologizing?

I think I would be MORE PISSED that someone had said that to my daughter than I would about the cheating. She should leave the kids out of it! OWWWW...I would be pretty pissed about that one.

Thanks for the support and allowing me to vent. I don't need sympathy. I'm a man and can handle life's problems. It will go on.

THere is 0 excuse to tell your child about your sex life.

I would show her the door for that one. That is abusing your child.

You have no idea...I don't lose it often...but hurting someone I love to get to me? That would be a very very very dumb thing for anyone to do to me (and said loved one).

Would you hate them?
No, but I wouldn't let anyone bring my child into the mix of drama.

She would be issued her walking papers for that one.

I see what you are saying Sir Calveless, however, character flaws THIS GREAT should have been surmised in that short a period a time - ESPECIALLY since they lived together before-hand.

When we are young and dumb we are so busy trying to find ourselves that we often ignore/explain away the faults of others. When you are in your 40's and have been there/done that one should have been afforded a bit of wisdom. Don't you agree?

Ya'll know how quickly my husband and I married and will I say that we will definitely see it through till our deaths? NO... as I am old enough to know that life has a way of handing us the most interesting life lessons when we least expect it. But what I AM saying is that I did NOT make the same mistake twice. My husband does have flaws (as do we all) but being an abusive controlling asshole ain't hardly one of them. (The major flaw that I failed to recognize about my exhusband.)
