If there was ONE piece of advice you could give to a newbie, what would it be?

Eat smart, train hard, keep a good form, train heavy or fuckin' die !

Hard work and dedication lead to succes

Consistency: Consistent, diet, training, form, and rest will yield consistent gains. However don't go overboard... take days off when you need to or you're not feeling it, and don't be to ridiculous about dieting, enjoy life and the muscles you are working so hard to build.

without a doubt.........don't let this game overtake your life, cause if it gets a hold of you, it won't let go..............I wish I would have listened to myself............

umm...no......I'd wait AT LEAST 6 months before I reccomended that to anyone who just set foot in the gym..........you f-up your back with incorrect form on these puppies early in the game, you can forget about them training again...........

I don't know if I agree with this. Would you not recommend a noob to do squats right away b/c bad form will lead to injury? Form needs to be learned one way or another, doesn't matter if you're into your 3rd month training or 3rd year training. I regret not doing DLs when I first started out b/c my entire body, save my lower back, grew. Took me at least a year to get it up to speed with the rest.
