I assumed from the wording of the original question that this was a new marriage and you were at a loss as to what to call the husband. Is it safe to say the gentleman had been married to your aunt for some time? In theory, her death should have changed nothing about your relationship with him, unless you've never liked him and were only nice to him for her sake, in which case, all bets are off

He's husband #2. I've never met him. Her daughter from husband #1 is getting married next week and I'm sure he'll be there.
