If anyone on here is late paying their bills I hope you think about it more!!!

Have any of You ever received phone calls from Hurley State Bank for late bills???Well if so I hope your sorry butts decide to pay them off cause I work for them and have to call the people who are almost turned over to collections.

I call those with late pymnts with Zales, Baily Banks and Biddle, and Gordons.

Also I occasionally call for about 200 different companies who we have accounts with, but the top 3 are my main ones

Things I have learned 1 month on the job

1.If you can't speak, read, or understand english do not enter into a contract without someone on your side to explain the pymnt plans

2. If your bills are just so high you can't pay $15.00 a month you better get your ass in to donate plasma 3 times a week, that way @ 30 bucks a pop you have a few months paid for no problem

3. If you put your kids on the phone to answer We most likely hear you in the background....so don't be a chicken shit, handle your own bizzness...

4. No we usually don't enjoy or try to harrass you cause that would be illegal, yes we have alot of ways to help you, but if you act like an Ass then be prepared to be treated as such

5. If you hang up on us or cuss us out, Know now by law we can call you at 8:00am even on weekends :)

6. If you think you can just tell us your broke and we won't call you...LOL...think again, If I've heard it once I've heard it a billion times

7. If your dying in the hospital. I'm sorry, but if you have been laying in the death bed for 6 months and your still getting calls for me, tough shit, get a portion of your welfare, insurance, or savings sent to pay off your bills so you can die in peace

8.If you tell us your filling for bankrupt. and give us a lawyers name if you don't tell the truth you have someone with more power even more pissed off at you.

9. If you don't want to hear us about your bills pay them on time or get help with a CCCS(credit couns.)

10. If you try any combo or all of the above, answer to your name and pretend you don't speak english when I hear others talking to you in the background in English, and then you act like it's a fraud account, you can bet your ass when the credit bureau reads your file, there is a chance they will snd a note to the ins to check your status. So don't piss us off, we are just trying to pay our bills like the other hard working people to make up for your sorry butts who cheat the system


thankyou, this ends my rant on the deadbeats who talk shit to me and can't pay their cheap jewl. bills
 
I have to deal with this same crap at work,its fucking amazing some of the stories people come up with.
My all time favorite: "Well I havent been recieving a bill so I figured I wasnt being charged."
 
I deal with some dialup internet access billing for my company. I have to handle these calls like, "why was my internet connection turned off after a whole year of service?" Answer, "Uh, you haven't made a single payment yet and you owe $325". I get all of the same stories, but i got em by the balls, cause it is me that can reactivate their account, and they can't get their precious emial with out it. :rolleyes:
 
I used to work for a high risk credit card. I called this one guy and he gave me some lame ass excuse about how his wife was dying of breast cancer and was in the hospital almost dead. The funny thing was that his wife's name was on the account as well and I had talked to her that same morning.
 
Well today was actually a better day with the callers, I actually laughed at some dude who was cussing me out...when he said "whats so funny" I said "you, now are you done getting pissed off so I can try and help you"

He calmed down and I set him up on a pymnt plan. Will he pay I doubt it since he had 7 broken promisses, but I did learn some new Ebonics that I haven't heard back in Houston yet.....I also called alot of Puerto Rico accounts, which is funny cause we have a call center there. I problem said "uno momento por favor" and played alot of spanish messages....All things considering it wasn't a bad day, from now on I'm going to laugh on the phone when customers get upset, if they hang up fine I'll call them at the same time the next night
