Idiots in the Gym

We've got this guy at our gym that is prolly 5'7 205 with 35 percent prolly one of the weakest guys there that has an extreem case of ILS (Imaginary Lat Syndrome) Where when the dudes done with his lift no matter what the musscle group is walks around with his arms out about 10 inches from his Lats and looks at him self in the mirror while puffing heavy and loud from his 40lbs EZCurl bar set of 10 with his cut down tank to his waist and nipps so you can see all fit fat giggle.

Oh and of course form is completly awful. I'm not one to judge though don't get me wrong if I see a terrably fat person in the gym I think at least there in there doing something rather than at the ice cream shop like most. I respect that.
 
My favorite thing now is why does every guy that walks by me in the gym suddenly get ILS and puff out their chests. I try to avoid contact with people but these doushes just feel the need to find a path to walk by me. One of these days I'm going to lose it and go "Yes I am bigger than you, yes I am stronger than you, why? because I fucking work hard and lift right unlike you chickenleg douscherockets!"

Sometimes i wonder if you through someone with ILS of a building if they would try to fly!

OMG, the ILS thing is cracking me up!
 
Ok, this is a little off topic. But, reading these things is making me self concious and afraid that I am a dork at my gym. I really, really just try to stay away from people at the gym. Everyonce in awhile people talk to me but I mind my own business for the most part.

Here's the thing: I love free weights. I have them at home too and don't really like machines. I have a book that I keep nearby to check my form. I try to stay out of the way but am also working on my confidence because not many chicks use the dumbells at our gym. Any pointers for me besides trying not to bug people?

Just be yourself. Don't try to project something you're not. Don't be afraid to ask someone if you are doing something wrong (just try to make sure that person knows what they are doing).

Oh and fullest props for using free weights, so many people are afraid of them.
