Hi there. I have been lurking this site for a few weeks. I have noticed that there are many here that really know their stuff. I must say that I am impressed!
I would like some advice.
A little background first:
I am a 40 something year old woman. I have lost almost 200 lbs in the past 2.5 years. I have actually stayed at the same weight for the past year. (being a perpetually yo-yo er most of my life, that is a great accomplishment for me.) I lost my weight by low carbing. I began exercising a year ago. Before I ask my question, please note that I'm not one that is looking for a quick fix, an easy loss, or a magic pill. Ok, here goes:
Do you have any suggestions on how I could lose the last 20 lbs.? I am considering trying a thermogenic stacker like Hydroxycut. The reason for thing specifically about Hydroxycut, is it has a low dosage of ephedra per capsule. I have never taken anything like this before, and wanted to be safe.....BUT, also effective. Before you tell me to add more cardio, I have to tell you that I am doing what I can. I guess being fat hindered my physical fitness! I'm coming along, though, at my own pace. At first I could only do the elliptical for 2 minutes. (stop laughing
I'm now up to 20 minutes and then I do the strength machines, then another 20 minutes. Maybe today can do 21 or 22 minutes? I try to add what I can. I'm afraid that trying to lose this last 20 pounds I have slowed my metabolism drastically. I know that is a bad thing, I just really want to lose this last 20. Any advice you could give me would be so greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance!
