I had a so called female friend that was going thru a divorce last year... She kept saying she was getting a settlement etc: I could care less really however. I have loaned her over $5000.00 and she keeps stalling on her settlement date.. Now::::: I find out last week she took a 2 week trip to St. Kitts with her son and she has a new $1200.00 lap top clothes etc: I confronted her today and she said she still had not recieved her money.....Now last year she came crying to me saying her phone had been disconnected so, I had her put on my cell plan... She is past due over $200.00 and on top of that there is a $175.00 early termination fee... I swear,no one and I mean no one appreciates it when you try and help them... BTW she was just a friend... I am more that pissed about this... sorry for the rant....

The lady in front of me had 3 small children and started counting change for her bill ,,, well soft ass me pays $76.00 for hers plus mine... Oh well at least she thanked me........

I'm the same as you. Random acts of kindness make the world a better place, and I am quick to help friends or family in need when I can. Sometimes I get taken advantage of, sometimes I don't. At the end of the day I know that those people who took my generosity for granted have to live with that. I understand you're angry, and hurt, but don't let someone else make you a cynic. Stay good and kind for yourself because that's who you are, and you'll always know who in your life is worth keeping around by who appreciates and reciprocates.
