i will never be big enough or lean enough

my stretchmarks are actually hurting today. under my left lat/armpit it feels like i lterally got scraped with a sharp branch or something. today was backday, obvi.

it's not like I lost drive to stay in shape, i'm in real good shape now, it's just that I don't really see any benefits from getting any bigger. Not to mention I pulled better/more ass when I was skinny fuck... It's just a pain keeping the gains, expenses (juice, supplements, food, etc), time, muscle soreness, I just don't love it like I use to

i tried to explain skinny fat to my friends gf who used to be a dancer (and my friend is my lifting partner so she sorta understands) and she still thought i was crazy, lol

i also hate watching mtv true life im on steroid shows especially with my friends cause they start being gay and annoying and saying stupid shit.

i also watchd "true life i want the perfect body" about bodybuilding and they kept saying how gross it was and im like, uhh he looks awsome, someday i hope to look like that
 
when your self esteem is shitty is typically when bigexoria is present. whether you recognize it or not

i used to feel the same way. couldn't be big enough, but now i know where my ideal weight/bf is. it's not an insane point and i don't look like a freak, just fairly jacked(more than 95% of the population), lean and healthy. look good in suits and t shirts

alot of people don't really conform to what their body type is and what they can handle. it's retarded. bodybuilding is about aesthetics....as in your whole body, including head and frame.
i see these guys who are so jacked, they look like midgets with pea heads and giant shoulders. doesn't make a whole lotta sense
 
Over many years of busting my ass in the gym, I have came to ther realization that I will never be a real big guy. I just don't have the genetics. But getting lean though, I have never had a problem...
 
I hear ya........I will never be a big guy either...........I finally said I will work with what I have and keep an athletic look....lean and muscular but not big
 
Yup I totally agree on the aesthetics thing. I'm definitely the smaller body type. I think my idea weight/bf would be about 180/9%. I would look jacked and cut but not gigantic. And considering how out of shape most of America is, I'd look better than almost everyone I was around.
 
I'd like to be a bit bigger, don't really care about being lean, but I know I can probably never be strong enough to suit me.

I'm gonna ramble here a bit, since this issue is close to me...
i started seriously hitting the weights when i was 22
i had worked out alll thru hs, but i was always skinny.
when i went to college i never touched a weight
then one day i said fuck it, joined a gym and have been lifting ever since.
i shot up in weight quickly, from 150ish to 190ish in a few years
thought i was huuugggeee, joined this site and learned about steroids...realized i was still a skinny douche.
felt bad about that for a while, read up on sauce, got a few connects...but never pulled the trigger.
i just don't want to fuck my health up...as much as i'm tempted, a few years of swoleness just doesn't seem worth it.
so i changed my thinking up...no longer do i wanna be "huge" (which to me is 225 at my height), i wanna actually truely be in shape via weight training and cardio.
not be able to do concentration curls with the 80 lb db, or have a high smith bench. or wear UA to the club...i'd rather be able to run a fast 2 mile, pound out a shit load of pullups/sit ups, and squat/dl double bodyweight for reps.
this carries over better to my lifestyle/work than hugeness would.
i feel fucking great now in days, esp with the hard running

the health ramifications you're thinking of are way way overstated unless it's abused, plus at your age test is already declining. If you use moderately, then you're fine.

Personally, i could give a fuck. Even if somehow it did reduce my lifespan by 5-10 years, it'll be the years i'll be shitting myself and can't do anything. I rather be jacked, look great and strong while i'm relatively young then worry about when i'm 80.

A moderate steroid user will have alot less health problems than the typical american anyways (not that you are)

don't know stud. i haven't weighed myself since last month.Scared to look at the scale. I've probably lost 10 lbs from not training and eating like shit since i started my new job, but been back in the gym and in the kitchen this week. Starting to fill out again and get my pump back.Was flat as hell for a minute. Will prob take another 3-4 weeks of hard training, creatine, and eating like a horse. my appetite is back full force though. housed like 4k calories and i was sitll hungry as fuck yesterday.
when i get back near to that size i'll start my cycle which i pushed back.
doing human growth hormone - somatropin - most of the year will help me keep my size/leanness when i'm off

i was at 172-173, 11% in december. 178 when i was on(all summer up until october)....same bodyfat range, 11-12%. Looked about as big as i wanted to.

concentration curls and high smith bench? lol. you implying that's what bodybuilders do? i used the smith for a few months when i had no spotter. bodybuilders still push a good amount of weigh, shit i've been using nothing less than the 100lb dumbbells for incline, decline and military press...only because that's the highest weight my gym provides. yes i focus on aesthetics and i want to look proportional, slugging the max amount of weight you can do in 4 sets doesn't get you there.

i'm in extremely good health, my bp is 130/60 on cycle. top number should be lower than 120 but it is at 110 when i'm off everything. my liver values are all perfect.

you don't have to be swole for a few years then suddenly get small when you come off. i've been keeping it lean and gradual since i started. little to no water weight. i've been eating cleaner than ANY of my friends. this means i've had 3 beers in the past 3 months.

AA.S does not equate unhealthy bino. you need to figure out another excuse as to why you're dodging the issue. either that or keep researching.

funny thing is you'll do more damage to your joints by squatting/dl'ing double your weight over time

and yes i can dl a decent amount, do i want to do that? no. i get a better mind/muscle connection and pump and development when i keep dl'ing and squats to 315 max

how so? you gonna squat double your weight in the woods one day? how does this benefit you more than bodybuilding would, considering you've had issues with your size in the past?

it's one thing want to be fit cardio-wise, but you're contradicting yourself. basically you're saying, "i want to lift heavy ass weights for the fuck of it, and this will theoretically make me bigger, but i don't want the good muscle development that comes with bodybuilding."

no, what i'm saying is that being strong in the dl/sq carries over to my lifestyle and job.
i am going to fight fires in the mtns this summer fall...lotsa hiking/climbing/hard work.
the combo of cardio/strength training is gonna help...plus i have to meet physical requirements so i have to train this way.
i could give a fuck about leg size

it is a friendly debate...and i love the topic.
and i think most of the people here who joose aren't bb'ers and don't wanna be.
they just sauce for personal reasons or whatever.
the point i was trying to make with the concentration curls is that i wanna be functionally strong/fit.
be able to run without getting winded, do 30 pullups, ride a bike for 30 trail miles, etc.
some peeps that are jacked and yoked may appear to be in awesome shape...but put them in some sort of event, like basketball/running/laboring/etc they get pwned cause they are not functionally fit/strong, only gym strong.
and nothin is wrong with that, obviously whatever you wanna do...but i wanna be functionally fit/strong and i think i can get there w/o sauce.
if anything maybe some blood doping :)

Bino - juicing will only help you get in better shape physically......not telling you to juice or not.....just saying that it would definitely help.
 
i realized i'm already as big as i ever wanna be; among pretty much all my friends i am the 'jacked' dude, even though by ef standards i am a small piece of shit. I'm just trying to get as lean as possible; i realized that's what i want to see when i look in the mirror...and maybe it had to do with confidence but the amount of girls i get being 10%-ish is ridiculously more than what i used to pull when i was at 13-15%
