It was so frickin' AWESOME!! I'm definitely going to do it again. I would advise everyone to try it!!!!!!! I guess my adrenaline is still rushing from it, just thinking about it. I got a DVD of the jump and everything. Anyways, I just thought I would share that with everyone. :D Skydiving should be something everyone experiences at some point in their life, seriously! :)

ha:) It's not what you think it's going to be at all!!! You could so do it! There is no falling sensation whatsoever. It feels like you're just floating in the air in one spot.

I've always wondered what it felt like.... BUT I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane....or get on a perfectly good airplane.... LOL

Glad you had fun!!

HOW FUN!!! This is most def. on my list of things to do :)

I went with my bro and his friends to 'watch' the couple times they did it but get this... the 1st time my bro was ever on a plane, he jumped out of it... who does that?! Ha!

Hope you had a great weekend :bigkiss:

:rose:

wow girl congrats on the jump - i have bungee jumped from tallest tower in america and i have to admit i willnever be jumping of my own free will from anything again ; hell i dont have the stomach anymore to get in a sky trak to paint tallest point of my house lol. Its weird ever since i did the bungee jump thing i have been more scared of heights. go figure one experience that seriously wasnt that bad and im scarred for life.

I'm thinking "just don't look down" wouldnt work so I will just have to live vicariously through your experience, thanx!

It was amazing! Best thing I've ever done in my life. I've bungee jumped before and this definitely blew that out of the water. It's so completely different from bungee jumping. It doesn't do what bungee jumping does to your stomach and it just feels safer. I don't know but I'm going again in May!! By the way Randk, your kids are SOOOOO adorable!!!!! Absolutely beautiful :)

That's so awesome to! Part of me wants to do it, the other part figures I woudln't survive the adrenaline rush. I am sufficiently happy dropping out of a boat down 175 ft of water, and I'll just leave it at that I think. I've got enough "adrenaline rush" planned just getting my butt on stage on May 14, not tripping and not forgettign how to do a side chest pose!

i hate to throw this in there but odd how i seen this thread and then i seen this:

Skydiver Dies After Legs Severed in Midair
DELAND, Fla. - A skydiving cinematographer was killed after his legs were severed in a midair collision with the airplane he had jumped from, authorities said.

Albert Wing III had already deployed his parachute Saturday when he struck the left wing of the DHC-6 Twin Otter propeller plane at about 600 feet, a witness on the ground told police.

Both of Wing's legs were severed at the knees, but he managed to maneuver his parachute and land near the DeLand Airport, about 40 miles north of Orlando, DeLand Police Cmdr. Randel Henderson said.
He was airlifted to a hospital, where he later died, Henderson said.
Fourteen other skydivers were in the air at the time of the accident, Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Holly Baker said. The plane landed safely.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board were investigating.
Authorities said they were not certain whether Wing had been filming at the time of the accident and no camera was found.

Well, its sort of like scuba diving - can be insanely fun and borderline mindless to actualy do. However they dont' have you sign that waiver for nothing.... (though debatable how binding it is in court, you have to acknowledge that there are some risks...)

I want to get certified to go scuba diving before I go to St. Lucia this June. I really want to try that next!!! That's such a sad story about that guy dying from that horrible accident! That really sounds like a freak accident.
