I am 19, 6'1" 170, 2% BF, and have been lifting for 2 1\2 years. I take creatine, glutamine and vitamins. I use to take protien (metrex) but it makes me sick. I keep reading that I need to take in more callories, like 4000 or something. I think I eat a lot of food but have never really added it all up. I eat pasta and beef almost every day. I usually skip breakfast though because of early classes. I work out 3-4 times a week chest one day, arms another, and back and shoulders the last, then I usually put in 1 leg day. I havn't been doing many squats which I probably should be. My question is how to gain the weight I am looking for. What abou my routine should I change? Can you give me an idea on what I should eat when? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

Kurt

Ok.. well if your 2%, then i must be fat. I'm sorry but you're not 2% bf..

As for eating, if you want mass.. eat mcd's/bk/wendy's.. all the fast food crap.. you'll gain 15lbs :)

WHole Milk, Tuna, eggs, cheese, brisket, chicken...man there are tons of foods that you could be eating through out the day. As for breakfast, get your lazy ass out of bed earlier and eat some dam food. did u actually think gaining weight was easy? depending what your trying to do (gain or lose weight) it ain't gonna be easy. My advice is take food with you at school. Take a huge thermos of milk of protein, peanuts and beef jerky. Your gonna have to get used to eating large Quantities of good quality food. Don't be afraid to eat carbs and be sure to take in extra fat also.

2% brain cells maybe....

up your calorie intake to about 4000 per day split over 6 meals...
do keep track of calories... a lot of people think they eat a lot but
then they are quite surprised when they keep track only to realize
that its nowhere near what they thought it was

If you add 5 sessions of cardio a week you'll be taking away from your lifting days... And cardio is very counter productive if you're trying to gain weight.

Trick is to expend minimal energy when not at the gym. Don't be running around if you don't have to. Up the calories and you'll gain the weight. One thing that has helped me a bit is when you reach a peak in gaining weight, carb deplete yourself for 2 days then go back to your bulking diet w/ high carbs and you'll keep gaining weight.
