i want to break up a pet breeding monopoly

i would rather piss off a bunch of people.
So your girlfriends desire for a cat is greater than her respect/desire for your health and well being? You might want to think about this....it gets worse when you are married.

right now it is more about my insatiable desire to fuck with any and all dickheads i come in contact with. these breeders seem to take the cake.

any ideas how to go about doing this?

my girl wants a pet cat, but i am super allergic to them - itchy eyes, hives, etc.

well, they have hypoallergenic cats that don't produce a certain protein that most people are allergic to. sounds great, right? wrong.

these fucking cats are $900 each...for a cat! i could maybe understand paying that much for a really awesome dog...but a cat? come on, now.

so, i was like, 'sure, go get one...but you better breed the damn thing at least once to get our money back.' and herein lies the problem. every last breeder makes you sign a contract saying you will have the cat spayed/neutered and you won't breed it. you even have to send in a copy of the vet work as verification.

and these are breeders nationwide.

i'm not that fond of cats...but i hate monopolies more. how could i go about breaking up their little party without getting sued in the process?

these people are simply taking advantage of people with allergies and price gouging them as a result.

grow a pair of balls and buy a dog.. tell her to like it of hit the bricks..

just saying, there has only been one cat i like, my brother in law's and it will come when you call it..

weird..

i don't give up that easily.

i have a friend moving back from germany, and they are pretty common cats there. i'm thinking about having him pickup a kitten before he comes back.

You might want to look into the costs associated with bringing in a pet from overseas. The papers, the quarrantine, ect. I'm sure the government hands you a hefty bill for doing such things.

Just stick it under your top hat.

A breeder's pedigree is like his brand, goes for dogs too. Most will let you pay additional money for a right to breed, but they are very particular about who they let breed because they don't want their champion lines dilluted.
