I think I am addicted to fat burners...

I don't drink coffee or drink soda so when I wake up in the morning I usually pop a NYC, Xenedrine or its equivalent. I don't really use them as fat burners although it is a great plus but more as a source of energy. I have a very tough time feeling upbeat without them. I tried not taking them for a little while and I had no energy. However, when I take them now it is almost like to feel normal and doesn't give me as much energy as it use to.

Is there anything I can do to get my natural energy levels back. If I stop completely will it take a few weeks to feel natural energy again. I have been really stressed out lately so I know that this is one energy killer, but I am wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows what I should do...

stopped taking fat burners a few years ago, used them the same way, to feel normal. i quit cold turkey and felt lethargic for 1/3 of the year 2002. after that i was good to go. try to taper off of them, maybe go 4 a day, to 3, to 2, to 1 over the course of 6 to 8 weeks. may help.

you could try l-tyrosine with a medium cup of coffee. i did that for awhile till i didn't need it anymore.

you just gotta quit for a while. I stopped taking them for 2 months (had been on for over a year prior), due to my bulking cycle. The first two weeks were hell, but after that, I started waking up in the morning feeling great. I guess it helped that I was getting 8-9 hours of sleep each night since schools out.

NOTHING beats a cup (or 2 or 3 or 4) of strong, nawlinz's own Community (brand name) dark roast coffee to jump start me in the morning (or whenever i fall outta bed)!

the combo of community coffee and zenadrine had me vibrating up and down in my chair as i t ype this. WOOOO-HOOOOOOOO! :)

It is hard I came off these things for a week solid headaches and no energy so I went back on. I will try it again. Is there anything besides coffee as an energy alternative?

I came off of them for 3 months due to anxiety issues. Needless to say I didn't go to the gym for 3 months b/c I couldn't get up at 5am without them. There was no possible way to gather the strength and motivation that early in the morning without them. So I'm back to taking them but only when I wake up. None throughout the day b/c of anxiety

yep. i hear you.

i was totally addicted to efedrine for a long time.
couldnt even function without it.

the best thing you can do is to slowly taper down.
DONT stop 'cold turkey'!

also, you many wanna use some gear to build up some extra strength which should help your energy levels.

if its really hard come off them slow and taper down

drinking lots and lots of water might help with the headaches.

also if u are use to taking them in the morning to get going try waking up 10 mins early and doing a light total body warmup and stretching routine to get the blood flowing that should help too

good luck
