Sounds like you have posttraumatic stress disorder.

Actually, from what you're posting it sounds like you were wound pretty damned tight before the break-in, anyway (i.e., suicidal thoughts).

Get some professional help. Find a therapist experienced in treating PTSD. This shit can rule your life if you don't get a grip on it.
