How can it be true that only Jews defend Israel, when it required the 450+ Christian Congressmen to approve those funds? Surely the Congressmen appropriating the funds knew exactly how much is involved and approve of defending Israel, and make up a majority of the Congress.

It is simple. Favors are exchanged. "I vote for this if you vote for that."

1. Republicans are usually older and older people vote more often and more regularly.

2. Republicans had much more money to spend on their campaigns and it is a fact (through many studies) that the more money you have the better chance you have of being elected.

My contention stands.
The US is primarily Jewish & Christian, and therefore elect Jewish & Christian Congressmen,
who knowingly choose to defend Israel thru our allocations of funds,
and create Pro-Biblical foreign policies that favor Israels Defense.
The Defense of Israel is specifically mentioned in the Republican Party platform you voted into power.

And tell me, what exactly was Frances involvment in the revolutionary war - how much french blood was let ? Get out the encyclopedia...And as far as France goes, they are as useless as tits on a bull..France thinks they are the most powerful country in Europe, and the people for the most part are pompous/elitist's..and yes, I spent time in France and have firsthand experience in dealing with French people..

We appease France by playing their political games...do I need to remind you about Frances role in WWII ? Pretty much waited for the US/Allies to free them from the Germans..

I conquer. Do you actually think that the United States of the 1700's could have defeated the English in an all-out war? One of the main reasons they did not send every ship and troop they had over was because the French had our backs. Simple american history son.

Who thought that Vietnam would be able to stave off the mighty USA. The British may have had more success, but they would have eventually failed because it took many months to send reinforcements and a rediculous amount of money to fight a war overseas. You can also credit America for making a pact with France to help it fight the British, which by the way France only did because of their own interests in the region and their hatred for the Brits.
