I ran my first half marathon!

I ran it with my brother, I have never been in cross country or anything, but I had started running for the first times last fall...so, I figured I'd do something with it. So I ran the half marathon on the Mickelson Trail in SD in the Black Hills. It was fun...my time was 1:36:17, and that's a 7:20 pace ( average ). I got 75th place out of 1400 runners. It was fun, I'll probably do another sometime soon too. for those who don't know, a half marathon is 13.1 miles.

Thanks man! I appreciate the encouragement. I've never ran a 5k before, but I will soon. I ran a 3 mile route at my house and did it in 17:31 . I was pretty proud of that too.

I think I'm going to do that same race next year. It's a fun one, in the black hills, great scenery!
