But the root beer float flavor , although drinkable , is no where near the taste of all the other 100% whey exotic flavors.

I'm gonna try this with Vanilla Soy milk and see where that gets me.

I think there must be some bad batches taste wise. I bought 3 10lbs bags of gold standard whey: 1 chocolate and 2 vanilla. I went through the first chocolate and vanilla and the stuff was very very good. Then I opened the second bag of vanilla and it tasted awful. I add some splenda to my shake and it is much more tolerable now.
