I need new tires and these are the three that keep coming up in conversation. I've researched to death and figure - what the hell - ask some people.

So?
People?
Thoughts? Opinions????

Talk to me.

Pirelli - P6000 Veloce

Michelin - Pilot XGT V4

BFGoodrich - Comp T/A HR4-2

Velvet Pirelli for me, but i live in Europe

Personally i would skip the Michelin.

I think they s*ck. Had them and will never buy them again.

Overhere Pirelli is expensive.

Hmmm.

I have gotten nearly 80,000 miles out of my current set of Michelins.

I can destroy any set of tires - frightening actually - MUHAHHAHA!!
I'm actually fun to drive with if you like rollercoasters.

HA!

Anywhooooooooo

I can get any of the tires above for under $100.

Do you ever hit the breaks or just wait until the car stops by itself?

What kind of car are u driving??

I prefer the Comp T/A's. I have had them on 2 mustangs and one trans am, and they are very good tires. They are however VERY VERY soft and will not last as long as u might need.

My dear Velvett....I happen to have a VERY large Client who deal's in tires!

Without naming names on here..If you have a credit card(I'm sure you do)I may be able to help you!!!!!I get a great discount as well!

Get me the size you need and I'll get you a price. Where you located? Which State? I can have them UPS'D to you in a few days(providing they have them in stock).

Once again, you would not need to give me your card number..I could check and see if you could call it in to them so you are not worrying I'm some sort of scam artisit or something!

Well, 90% of those miles were highway miles...

A 328i.

YEHAW!

Vixenbabe.....(I'll PM yah later today)

Hummmm leaves me to ask only one question.... any other rubber products available?

:wavey:

LOL...You need new tires dear!

Really, the offer stands and you can e-mail me the size of tire you need if you wish.

By the way...YOU got me in mega trouble last night with my mother. She came over to watch my lil girl and my puter was talking to her...THE VIRTUALGUY gave her a thrill....LMAO. When I got home she came and told me that my 'puter was talking about strippin in a man's voice....I DIED LAUGHING!

I would go with the michelens myself.

Vix doesn't deal in other rubber products shrebly but she has an extensive rubber toy collection that would rival your pez collection.

Brilliant! I want to produce and distribute vibrating pez dispensers. That's an excellent niche you carved out. Any backers?

maybe someone didn't like your Michelins

For a BMW definitly Pirelli.
You don't need the softer Michelin in the states.

Um, actually I understand the Michelins are the harder tire than the Pirelli...

But I could be mistaken.

Decisions decisions...

EEK!!!!!!!!

Must go to work.

Velvett, I'll buy your tires for you if you send me a pic of you naked!:p

Pirelli's are soft, sticky tires made for gripping, so if your gonna be racing around alot, dont mind spending money often to buy new tires then get them.

Dont know shit bout Mi-ching-gado's.

I only buy BFG... :)

Girl, get you the michelins.
If you can get them for under $100,
that's cheaper than I can get them.

The others are not going to give you
any where near 80,000 miles.

Comp T/A's are the best tire on the market.
BTW.. did I piss you off the other day???

Mitvhellins....mitchellins,......mytchellins.....mitchelins...AH!!!!!!! RADAR

depends which models you go with, there are both GREAT tires and also shitty tires from the mentioned manufacturers. i know this didnt answer your question, but tires are like brands of motor oil. the name brands are going to all do the job, but people will have personal preferences til the end of time. you just have to see what you like. i ordered from tirerack before, excellent customer service. at the time i had a mazda rx7 and threw a recommendation of the rep on the line i went with a particular set of dunlops. he loved them etc etc etc i thought they sucked BIG TIME. talk to road racers if you can. theyll tell you whats good. are you looking for performance or durability? i know some of the pilots come on vipers and friend has them on his supra. firsthand experience says they are GREAT. also, when i ditched the dunlops, went with pirelli P-Zero's, and give them 2 major thumbs up. of course you sacrifice durabilty for performance, and vice versa. you just have to do some homework and maybe take some opinions of people you trust.....
