Not sure if I want a touch screen, or a Blackberry
Mostly used for web, very little email, and photos.
Verizon as a carrier.
Would like the BB that ATT has that is a touch screen but also has keyboard.
What's the best Blackberry?
Should I get a new Droid? There are so many wtf
The rumor is that Verizon will pick up the iPhone in January, but rumors are worthless sometimes. (source: local Verizon store manager, and somewhat verified/not denied by AT&T store manager).
I just got my first iPhone (g4, 16g) on Saturday, and I like it so far! I had a Droid (Motorola first model), and it had lots of cool features such as the GPS "Latitude" program, and a few other things that the iPhone won't do. However, the sound quality was about like a 1940s model childs' record player, and the touch screen was very unstable. Later, as they kept meddling with the software, it became more & more unreliable, and my apps would constantly not work or go out of date without warning, and the phone would crash or slow way down, and it was useless.
I had to switch to AT&T, which does suck since I have to keep my Verizon service for another year (or pay a huge fine). So I downgraded the Droid to a cheap Samsung phone, and will keep the service for $9.95/month until the contract runs out.
With only 5 days experience with the iPhone, I can say it's the first time I haven't come up with a major fault in any new phone I've had, in the first few days!
The deal I got was 2 iPhones (my wife and me) for $299 each with 2 year ball & chain, and if I remember the estimated bill, it's going to be about $120/month total including 2gb internet and messaging, etc. I've had AT&T before (Blackberry), and did NOT like the service. We'll see how it goes this time, since they've done a lot of corporate changes since then.
