I think my waist is about 38" when I have GOOD signs of abs. Most of the time it is 40"+ and fairly lean.
There are lots of places to train in CA. Where in Ca are you? Lots in northern California.
Go to www.nastrongman.com Go to the Anvil board and post up there...lots of help for amateur strongman.

He comes into my store every couple of months to get a protein drink. He seems very pleasant when he has a conversation with me and my employees. Funny thing is that his kids come walking in telling him to hurry up and he gets on his way, his son's don't seem to have the same genetic make up as him. I expected to see some lean built kids. But they are only 14 or 15, so they got a while. By the way, he IS fucking huge in person. His arms have to be around 25-26 inches.
