i just found out my yorkie has a degenerative liver disease...gonna cost 3k to treat, i'm paying it but damn it hurts my wallet and the treatment is not guranteed.
i think 5k would be my cutoff...sad that there has to be a cutoff point but i can only afford so much

Ouch, I’m sorry bro! It will be so worth it. When my minpin was 8 months she broke her leg, the surgery was really expensive and they thought we should just put her down. I said fuck that, and drove two hours to eastern Washington and had the surgery done there for half the price. She had two pins and a cast on for 8 weeks. Then she had bathtub therapy three nights a week. I would fill the bathtub and hold her up so she could paddle, it was cute. It was hard taking care of her with my job but I managed.

I love all dogs, I can manage a smaller dog. It's like a cat, but without the cat.
