I KNOW I'm not the only one with this problem!

ok bros I know this should be in the diet forum, but this is where I spend most of my time on EF so bare with me. Ok during the week Mon-fri I execute my diet flawlessly. Get my cals protein and carbs ED no problem. Cuz I have a schedule, ED is pretty much the same schedule wise. But on the weekends is where I struggle cuz who knows when I'll wake up where I will be or what I'll be doing. Its hard to keep to a eat schedule when your with your boys running around town til 3 or 4 AM. I just wana know who else runs into this prob, and what do some bros do to try to balance it out?
 
I make my own protein bars and take them to clubs with me (the joys of having a handbag).

There are 'healthier' options if you are out late and on the razz, like a chicken sheesh, just ditch the pita bread and only have the salad.

I know my eating is better at work, when I work 9-5, but I also do overnight shifts, so I can relate.

You could also have a 'cheat day' on the weekends.

simply put ...you must PRIORITIZE ...but first you must decide ...is this the body/diet/health/lifestyle that you want? ...if so then you must systematically change the things/habits that hinder it

...highly anabolic stuff for your character

Great post.

I have more or less stopped drinking, I had some champagne at a wedding in July.

I might have a few Bailey's on Christmas day.

I have diet soft drinks/fizzy drinks when I am out dancing or in a pub as my special treat (I never have them at home).

Still bring food with me :)
 
I go through the same thing but I useally use one of those days as a off day to enjoy myself. I'll bring prepackaged meals with me and yes my friends call me a flamer for carrying my brown rice chicken and brocilli around with me when they want to order pizza but whatever ill eat it and then treat myself to 1 slice of pizza just make sure you get the essientals in your body first before you go out and cheat.
 
Pockets full of protein bars when I go out or if I'm going to someones home I'll bring my nut, seed, dried fruit mix and my protein mix, fresh fruit and oats.
 
Are you on cycle?

IMO you are young and need to go out and drink etc. so I would not worry about it. Generally, I do not mix alcohol and training. When I have a set goal I do everything I can to achieve that goal and if that means avoiding alcohol then so be it. I don't drink anymore so it is easy for me to say this now. When I was younger (and in the infantry) we would do squats until total failure then head out and get drunk directly thereafter. Was this a good training idea? Definitely not but when I was 18 I had other priorities. ;)
 
im 23 and theres no way i would give up going out and having a some pizza and a few beers with my friends thats just stupid.. im not getting paid millions of dollars for my body.. you can enjoy things like that and still have a good physique.. what the hell is the point of having a wonderful body if yourn;t gonna go out on the town once and awhile and show it off
 
yeah I have the same 'problem'
latley I haven't been drinking because I have a nice supply of Pain Killers (yes they deserve the caps haha)
okay so anyway, I'm usually the DD... and I just keep a lot of food in my car.
so when my boys are spending their whole paycheck in the bar, i'll go out.. get on my phone and have a bit to eat.
It's easier to talk to chicks IMO when your not shitfaced, and the dude to roll with are either sober or blacked out.
so... food in car, and PKs haha

If your not a competing bb then fuck it a have a burger or somethin when ur out with the guys. you do try picking up women right? what would they think if you had a lunch box full of bnls sknls and sweet potatoes? Besides if ur goin out at night u dont need to b eatin that shit anyway. Take a protien bar with u if nessesary.
 
Just go out, drink and have a good time. You don't need to worry about all that diet crap when ur going out with your friends to party. As long as you're not doing it more than once a week, don't worry about it.

Stopped drinking? Thats you problem..hehe.. I won't quit drinking. Also, I drink diet sodas all the time, whats the big deal about only having them out at a club? I have eaten really, really clean for the last 2.6 years. Once your in the groove of it it's not hard to stay there. I don't think it's hard to eat right when your out on weekends. Almost every little resturant you might be at with your buddies will have some kind of chicken ceaser salad, or chicken for that matter.
 
i take a shake and a few home made protein bars with me where ever i go. you van still eat healthy when your out. a mate of mine who is seriously dedicated to BB has a small fridge in his boot full of food where ever he goes

Perth when I was kid. Then spent 10 years in Darwin and finally settled on the Gold Coast before I moved to the US.
 
Well heres my experience with this problem guys. I'm a habitual fuck-the-diet-on-the-weekends kinda guy. But I'm changing my ways.

I remember on my most recent cycle (bulking) of 10wks (test/tren) I went off diet each weekend except for the 2nd to last. I distinctly remember gaining (and holding) nearly 4 lbs that weekend. Keep in mind I weighed myself every day, except for on the weekends. So I go into the gym on Monday and weigh 4 lbs more than I did on Friday, and hold it!

So this next diet run I'll have everything dialed in and plan to stay on diet through the weekends. Its gonna suck, but Imma give it a try.
