we are at 3.10 to 3.25 per gal....talked with some people i know in AZ...their cost for AC runs between 250.00 to 650.00 per month depending on size of home....friend has a 1700sq ft. home at 250.00 per month in electric for AC, which is on 24/7.

Heating oil up north - 40%

Even 40% will hurt though. When it's getting down to -20 at night it takes a lot of heat just to keep the house decent. Last winter the house was only 68 most of the time. It was freaking horrible. I'm a chill baby.

i havent really bitched that much been about 3.09-3.15 a gallon here but yes i do fear the winter. my heat and h/w is gas!!!! and the heating system sucks...hopefully i will move before it gets too cold,who knows though

Its the price of gas we should all be worried about...fossil fuels of any type are up over 75% I work from home and dont drive much but your right...the gas and electric bills ...and for people who have to heat there homes....Im feel sorry for...Heating oil is over $4 a gallon...shit if you have a 500-1000 gallon tank....your fucked..start chopping some trees down
