Why?

Is it a valuable training alternative? It was just the bar, and he did them S L O W... bathed in sweat and in agony for the last 10 or so... dudes giving him high fives, the works.

Please: enlighten Cheffy Noob.

cause he was a fool.
nothing good comes of that, but major soreness, something to brag about, and bad form at the end.

i think 20 rep sets are the best they are going to pull from me........and thats a stretch. i get distracted after 5. LOL

definately a trick for your idiot buddies. but pretty cool nonetheless, i couldn't do a hundred at bodyweight haha.

20rep squats kick ass, however past 15 it feels like cardio.

Because some guy at the gym told him that some friend of his heard from another guy that knows this dudes cousin who trained with Arnold and that's the secret for big legs.

Cheers,

mine too! the weight helps to get me in the groove. if the weight is too light, i can be all over the place (well not really but it feels like it). the extra weight keeps your line, gets you down there etc.

I think I squatted 135 for like 76 once. First 50 felt soooo easy...then hit a wall.

It was interesting...different to try...once.

what was he lifting

I do 100's once in a while. It's a good quarterly shocker for the legs.

i read an article about this guy who broke a squat world record. its completely unbelievable and you guys will probably call bullshit but this guy squatted (at or below parallel!!) 225 for.......get this....... 176REPS, thats One Hundred and Seventy Six reps guys. and to add to it his bodyweight was sub-200lbs. something like 189 at the time or something. i saw the pic of the guy and he is fucking jacked, his legs are out of sight though, im talking tom platz legs. the set took over 10 minutes!!
