mine too! the weight helps to get me in the groove. if the weight is too light, i can be all over the place (well not really but it feels like it). the extra weight keeps your line, gets you down there etc.
i read an article about this guy who broke a squat world record. its completely unbelievable and you guys will probably call bullshit but this guy squatted (at or below parallel!!) 225 for.......get this....... 176REPS, thats One Hundred and Seventy Six reps guys. and to add to it his bodyweight was sub-200lbs. something like 189 at the time or something. i saw the pic of the guy and he is fucking jacked, his legs are out of sight though, im talking tom platz legs. the set took over 10 minutes!!
