You know, you're a putz but you have nice lats.

You have a girly mouth and elbows.

(just kidding)

As MM said, you have nice lats (so far). They are obviously your genetic strengths. Abs have some good potential too.

Combine those two and you can possess a great "X" frame... width at the top and a narrow waist. Bro you better take advantage of that because most people don't have shit for lats at all.

Thanks man. I have been bulking FOREVER, so I have more than enough fat. I want to get to 200lbs before I start my first cycle, currently 5'8'' 195

Wait until you get to 21 before you start... not a bodyweight.

You juice too soon, you will lose any and all natural progress you would have made (and retained) later on. Lay the foundation.

I bet I could put an easy 10lbs of solid muscle on you in one year if you were dedicated enough to follow the training and diet program I lay out.

Ya, well I went from 180-185 to 190-195 in 4 months, from 135 1.5 years ago. I think I can put on a bit more. But I really want to compete soon, after Seeing Trey Brewer at 21, I feel SOO behind.

Like AAP said, potential for EXTREMELY good traps and abs. You're literally blessed with incredible lats and a natural ability to spread them (lil' shit).

Triceps and pecs will benefit from work, kiddo.

After seeing Lee Priest at 18, I gave up BBing and went into PLing, lol.

:cow:

dont forget to exercise that part inside your cranium. its lagging behind the rest of you.

thanks for being in sweats, little worried there at first. what's ur back wo?
back workout is heavy deads(6 reps) and next week I do hypers instead. Then heavy bbrow, seatedrow, WIDE GRIP PULL UPS and thats it.

As much as you can be a little shit I gotta give credit where credit is due. You've definitely put your time in the kitchen and gym after seeing those progress pics. Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot

60lbs - 18mos, my gawd man, did u sleep with a feed sack on ? yeah i can see where u'd get stretch marks. that's what u call a late growth spurt

the newbie gains are ridiculous. I went from 170-175 to about 210 in a little over a year (18-19 yo). Lost some fat and workout time due to school and quit drinkin - now about 194-198 trying to figure out the diet-dialing

uhh...im dedicated enough !!!

btw dude nice back i agree

omg... I have to actually give you a compliment now... eek

LOL

really, great lats and potential abs... I would work more on shoulders, arms, and traps. Nice though!

This is the thing, my lats are SO big, that it makes everything else look smaller. For instance, I know it's not HUGE but my arms are 16 inches on a 5'8'' frame, thats a decent size.

not a bad size at all...

but work on traps and shoulders... nothing sexier than nice shoulders and traps.

For shoulders I'm doing overheadpress with barbell, 4 sets of 6, ending with 145 lbs. Then 4 sets of front delt raise, then 4 sets of side lateral raise, finished with 4 sets of revrese pec dec.

and for traps?

5 sets of 8 behind the bum shrugs, then 4 sets of 8 dumbbell shrugs.
135, 155, 175, 195, 215 then 80's, 85, 90 95....

come on... add some more weight. I was a whooping 130 doing db shrugs with 80lbs for 12...

drop the reps and add some weight.

still really very impressive!

I agree, it's at the end of a back workout which is usually killer. I find barbell shrugs are just weird feeling, my ass is big so the bar hits it, and Ihave to tilt pretty far back...

do them in front... thats what I did for my pl'ing training and it worked great. I would do it for 50 reps 1 set

I like db shrugs better though, with a pause at the top on my last sets for as long as I can hold it.

I wouldn't do traps and back together for the same reason you stated, I'd mix traps in with my ab workout or with my legs so that I could really push them.

where are you getting your protein?

I can't see the video (work restricted site!) but I have seen your current pics and you have made great progress, keep up the good work.
I started young going to the gym (because I was in cross country) but once I got married and had a kid, I pretty much quit and it is harder picking back up at 35!! I am taking my 14 yr old with me and he seems to have the itch to get get in shape...hope it sticks! :)

internet, I buy the 10 pounds bags.

no no no... I mean other than shakes and bars?

Tuna? red meat? what else are your protein sources?

Milk, chicken sometimes, on weekends when I'm at my girlfriends. Not really any red meat... When I start living with her in a few months, my diet is going to be perfect.

Bro,

#1 Your back can never be too big. No such thing exists. Work that sucker as hard as you can.

#2 Your shoulder routine sucks hind tit.

seriously... how will living with her make your diet perfect

one thing I learned... Do it for yourself! bottom line... pinch pennies, wake up early, stay up late, cook in advance... but don't ever rely on someone to make your diet perfect.

Lean red meat here and there is good... My protien consisted of tuna, talipa, and Chicken breast. Every once and a while I'd have a steak. I had to stay away from dairy because it and I just didn't agree... I would have 5 egg whites in the morn with my rolled oats... and get the rest of my protein from shakes.

I meant I live on rez now, so I can't get good food. When I'm with her we will buy REAL food.

I'll give ya props on your lats Youngnutz, that is my most lagging body part. You do have a good genetic base bro, and can gain some serious weight. Don't rush into juice. You do need to eat more meat bro. With what you said you are not getting anywhere near enough. Definately work on you shoudllers and traps more, and pecs too. Didn't show your wheels so can't say anything about that. Good transformation from your before pic though lol.

Red meat is your blessing.

Up the reps for shoulders around 10.
Look up a shoulder routine that I posted here in the past, it is good for your foundation.

Trap wise, you need more weight. Your traps consist of 2/3 of your back. They don't just sit on your shoulders, they run the entire length down to your lower back. Incorporate some hanging lat shrugs to target the lower traps and some standing calf machine shrugs to hit the high traps.

Thank you. I really do agree with higher reps.

sometimes I throw upright rows and arnold presses to my shoulder workout on top of my base shoulder workout and rotator cuff strengthening exercises

Holy :cow: I had never seen your before pics. I would not have recognized you. Good work.

Find a local buffet that serves baked chicken and fish.

I'm curious about the hanging lat shrugs...do you just hang at the low point of a wide grip lat pullup, and then shrug? that's a really interesting exercise, never heard of any one doing it before....

holy shizzle... you guys are dogging this boy for what reason? sure... i lay the smack down on him for posting weird meaningless shit. but take a look at his before and after... I totally respect him for that.

YG, think heavy, low reps and eat clean up the protein and keep things consistant. you really do have so much potential. Take advantage of it.. naturally.. don't even think about adding in anything right now. You have natural ability to contiue to grow ... work with what you have.

Yeah. Take a medium width grip on the chinning bar, hang down still and just shrug back and contract. The entire movement is only about 4-5 inches. You have to concentrate so you don't subconsciously start using your biceps, forearms and rear delt to make your body move that short distance though.

interesting exercise AAP, will have to try that out today
also will try doing dips in the same fashion. not bending at the elbows for just a short movement.

I do the same but with a wider grip feels like I'm hitting my lower lat tie in..

yg, you do have a great front latt spread bro...when you add some quality muscle mass in your pecs, front shoulders, bis & tris...you will be impresive...

if you do dips this way, keep your arms perfectly straight and elbows locked, drop down about 3-4 inches using your traps to lower your bodyweight, and then raise up and push your chest outward and upward you will really target your upper chest way.

Sounds strange I know... but it does work. Awesome.
