I Have A Question!!!!!

Now that i have your attention!

I did back today and was supposed to do a little bicep work ( powerlifter), my freind wants me to come in the gym 2night and help him. Is it ok to do my 5-8 sets of biceps tonight?

I have never split my workout up. I have heard if you have time its a good idea

That could work. I'm usually too spent after deads and back to want to try curling. I don't do much anyway just 3 or so working sets of hammer curls per week.

Thats about all i do, 5 sets usually. I was thinking about putting my triceps/ shoulders and sticking bi`s w/ back. so it would free up another day 3 days off instead of 2.

Or should i just keep my 5 day split?

Do you feel you are getting enough rest or do you think you would benefit from another day off?

Currently here's my split

Mon: Chest/abs
Tues: Deads/Back
Wed: Cardio/bis
Thurs: Shoulders/Tris
Fri: Squats/abs
Sat: off
Sun: off

Idk, its only my 2nd week back so its hard to tell at this point. I know when i was PL 2 years ago i had 3 days off and benefited from it alot. I will continue doing the 5 day and see how it goes.

You train your triceps w/ your shoulders too?

I am forever in Karma debt to you!

That's my suggestion as well, see how it goes and if you need more rest then rearrange accordingly.

Yeah it's the only day I can fit it in without affecting other work. Since I do heavy overhead work I don't want to do tris earlier in the week and sacrifice performance.

Hey you're doing the work I'm just helping steer.

I train biceps with chest and triceps with back so that they get a bit of a rest, and I hit bis/tris twice a week.
