I hate cold weather.

We had a spell of warm weather, but the cold came back with a vengeance today. Makes me not even want to get out. Only fat people like cold weather because they have lots of insulation and they got hot when it's 70 degrees.

Me too. That's one reason I moved to Georgia from Connecticut 7 years ago. Back to back blizzards in April made it clear to me that I had enough of that shit.

Yeah, and we can't even show off our physique in the cold. Another reason fat people love the cold, all those clothes to hide their fat.

i like the cold and outdoor activities associated with cold. where do you live biteme? LA?

wtf are you doing talking about cold for? Try northern michigan out then you can bitch.

i never took you for a texan. i imagine that you would hate all things texan (cowboys, pickups, general cockyness). I think Arizona or New Mexico would be more your style, less people.

Yes. My goal is to someday have a house deep in the woods away from civilization.

Seriously bor, you would like the upper peninsula of michigan. cheap property and a super low population. Lakes, woods, and solitude. cold as fuk though. but if you buy a snowmobile, the cold is fun!!

It's funny I always thought as Texas a warm state. I have a couple of friends from Houston and it doesn't get too cold there but I did hear it can get cold as shit around Dallas. An ex GF of mine was from Midland.

I was born & grew up in N. Minnesota. Moved to Phoenix for school. Then migrated to S. Fl for work. In my mind, West Palm Beach is too far north. Water cooler than 80 degrees is to be avoided. Snow of any kind is bad and not needed for a "real Christmas". I prefer to keep my A/C at 79 degrees and I never want to have to turn on my heat. I probably need a "heat rock" to sleep comfortably and ice water is a wonderful thing.

Yes, Houston is much warmer than Dallas. I lived there for 7 years. Dallas gets the arctic chills occasionally. Today is one of those days. Windy and freezing and the humidity makes if feel even colder.

WOuld love the solitude alright, but don't think I could stand that freezing weather. Brrrrrrr!

have you been riding at all this winter?

no don't know how much I will be either with no sled and a baby on the way. Too bad as with 43cm of snow on the weekend the conditions are the best in over 10 years probably more.

I think I will borrow a sled and go for the annual boys weekend in Jan.

I sure do have the itch after the WSA sno cross event 3 weeks ago!!

You would be loving it bro!! Its like mountain powder all over the place.

I love cold weather.

It's refreshing and I can actually breathe after everything freezes.

I don't know what's going on with the weather by me it's been 60, 50, 40 today there was hail, then snow, now rain.

Why can't I get a good old fashion winter?!

I love snow.
;)

That said - it has to be pretty damn hot for me to break a sweat if I'm not exerting myself.

What's your locale? I want to google the area for sled trails

There are always exceptions to the rule. I've just made the observation that most overweight people prefere colder weather and it makes sense why they do. I may be joining them soon. This high protein diet is making me fat.

what large city are you near?

fuck you should go finance a sled then sell it next winter, quite a bit of riding to be done. what else you gonna do? (i guess the kid thing kinda gets in the way, but that's what women are for :) )

well I have a few big expenses coming up otherwise I would. With all this snow it is soooo tempting but I can't.

The biggest American city is Minny 8 hours southeast.

I am in Winnipeg.

:worried:

I love cold weather.

But I also don't break sweat until we're up near a 100.

I think it's also what you're used to.
I'm in the Northeast and I spent the 17 years of my life in a 17-21 degree ice rink.

I would imagine if I grew up in the South I'd bawl when the weather dropped below 50 degrees too.

I don't want to hear whinning about the cold if you live about the Mason-Dixon line.
