I get a new car every year. (I don't necessarily mean "new," as in 0 miles.) Anyway, I typically alternate between sports car and luxury car. And I always consider nearly every car company when deciding what to buy. Sometimes I want a very American Car, othertimes, I want a refined luxury import.
Regardless of whether I buy import or domestic, sports car or sedan, there is always one constant, every year.
THE SLIMEBAG CAR SALESMEN.
Every f'ing year, I have to deal with these uneducated, neanderthal criminals, that think because they wear a tie to work, that they should be respected.
And I love shopping for new cars, online, newspaper/magazines, or just driving around. I love the hunt, looking for my next car. It is like looking for a new girlfriend.
Here is the deal. I know my shit about cars. I restore them, build them, race them, buy them, sell them, and adore them. I even write about them for a magazine.
And then, I have to deal with a plaid-sportcoat wearing, knockoff Rolex having, uneducated, neanderthal.
Car Salesmen ruin the enjoyment of getting a new car, they really do. I feel like a virgin in a whorehouse when I walk into a dealership. I come out feeling like I need a shower.
I have decided to keep my car a little while longer. I may try to sell it myself, and then buy a private party car.
