landscape is amazing here, it was cloudy and still beautiful...the mountains are unreal

the valley is flat with low to the ground buildings everywhere with just the right amount of trees blended in

never saw so many asians and mexicans in one city. ever.

peeps in general all so relaxed and easy going, def less stress on the west coast

best part of my trip was not meeting up with lestat lololool kidding, maybe next time we'll have a kb, swole, lestat meatup

did you see a lot of bums? I did when I was there.

I spent about 6 weeks in LA in '03
I saw one what I would consider one "junk car"
and didn't see many if any bums
and I did visit various areas
huntington beach-westminster where the GF lived
long beach-rich area lambos and ferrari's etc.
manhatten beach-my favorite area,the one area where I felt the various racial types interacted well

I think it was santa monica area that was lower socio-economic
my time there I was drunk and cant comment

i agree with you there bro. LA has a lot of offer as a city. Has its downsides as well, but in my mind the upside is greater. Good part of the country to live in, especially if you are liberal leaning and not wound so tight.


New York is an incredible city too, offers pretty much everything and is perfect for those who are always on the go, always hustlin, and are most comfortable when they are busy.

i was the opposite, born and raised in Northen Cali (Sacramento, then the Bay Area). Came to San Diego for school and stayed.

there are bums in downtown LA as well as downtown San Diego.

The beach areas usually have some bums too due to the temperate weather and high number of tourists (seems that they are more willing to hook them up with change)
