Well, not surprisingly, I got the job, at least I am assuming I did.

I am taking a late-starting english and psychology class and have to figure out when they start first....

I have to be one of the best-qualified canidates that has ever come in there, he normally hires high school jocks, who of course are more or less fat and don't know shit, I was able to answer every supp/herb/vitamin question he asked me....

The base pay is 6 (fuck) and he said with commission, because it's a pretty busy store, I'll normally make 2-3 dollars more per hour (cool).

Are you, or have you started college Frackal? If so that is decent cash while you are in school.

Yeah, this job will just be something to keep my income steady while I search out webjobs and such...the market SUCKS right now for web design jobs though...either that or I'm looking in the wrong places.

I hear ya. Took me 2 1/2 months to find this job, and had to move from Austin to Dallas for it. Fuckin' sucks. I'm gonna try to move back to Austin within the next 9 months, but if the economy & market don't pick up that may not be possible.

Tech market sucks right now...period.

freak daddy - not necessarily the biggest issue. Market is extremely competitive, especially web design. Even if he could manage to start up his own business, finding customers right now would be difficult. Having a steady paycheck? Practically impossible. Trust me, I know from experience.

Tech jobs are hard to find now .. I'm going to lay low and keep what I have and get every IT certification known, and hope that things get better.
