Well, I still don't know who said what. I still want to find out.
Personell file was refused. They won't talk.
Company may have jumped the gun; there doesn't seem to be any investigation; they seem to have made a decision on hearsay. It is a very large, high-profile company.
Lawyers - can't find a good one. Most want simple open-shut, ambulence chase or discrimination case. They don't care about this. Poor ROI, I guess.
No problem finding a job. I've turned down a lot recently.
I believe that it is based on bullshit. They won't say anything more than "a woman complained." It's obvious who did it; can't prove anything at this point.
It seems to be hurting my career. e.g. "No, he's not eligible for rehire," and "between you and me, there was a problem about a woman and it went to our legal department."
UI doesn't come close to 11k/mo. However, I did file just so that they will inquire my former employer.
It bothers me that a woman -- or anyone -- could have this type of power.
Money is not as important as having control over my life or being respected for what I do (not judget by lies people make up).
My goal is to find out who said what. The information is somewhere and I'm open to creative ideas (PM).
