I got asked what I was taking at the gym tonight...

I go to the gym with my fiance tonight, for our usual friday night leg workout. I am really getting into it tonight, so I guess I didn't notice who was there. So, I was pretty shocked when one of the guy's who works the front counter came up to me. He is a younger guy, maybe 20-23. He is always nice, and helpful, unlike some of the other workers. Well, I guess he was working out too. He said, "hey bro, your getting real big. What are you taking?" Now, I wanted to just tell him the truth about my current cycle, and I came close to it. But then I quickly remembered I live in a very small town, and shit flys around fast like that. Not to mention some cops do go to my gym. In fact I later saw one of them working out in another room. So, I just told him I've been taking more protein, and some creatine. He replied "Well, you're doing good with whatever. Looking big bro, keep it up."

Now, I think he knew. Should I have been truthful? Or did I do the right thing? I like to be honest about it. My close friends and family all know. I was just worried because I live in a small town, and I do get stuff sent to my house. I don't need any alarms going off. Anyone else ever encounter a situation like this?

Thanks bro's. I felt I did the right thing. I just hate to mislead people. Like those cell-tech ads. I just always imagine some poor young guy running to the store, and then when he doesn't end up looking huge, he just thinks he did something wrong, and gives up all together. But I'm glad I handled it that way. There are 'bro's' at the gym, and they know better to ask one an other, sorta like they just know. My fiance found the whole thing funny

I had the same problem a while back, but it was at work. I done some overtime on the opposite shift to me. I had put on about 18lbs in 5 weeks and i had 4 people come up to me asking if i was on steroids, and if i could get them some.

Gotta love it. Only a few very close friends know about my use, and I have shit on them. So if ever anything comes out on me, it will come back on them and they know it. So I trust them.

Don't say shit bro'. I like to be a bit mysterious in a way and for people to wonder without them knowing for a fact. People have been telling me the same shit lately from the newly gained 17lbs or so I have put on. If someone decides they should give up, then that's their problem from lack of motivation and one more person to admire you for what you have accomplished and your dedication to bodybuilding whether it be drug-assisted or not.

I've never been on a cycle and there are rumors at my univ. about me juicing. I did an EXTREME leg workout last week and I was limping a tad on Wednesday and someone started up a rumor that I'd been 'sticking my ass.' I think being on this board, and talking to fellow bro's all day, just makes you feel a little more 'free' about it, and I guess thats what caused the little doubt I had, about telling. I am glad I didn't now. It is nice to be a part of this board, and talk to a bunch of people who understand all of this, and you can just share the info with everyone here.

On another note, what year Cuda'? Those things are the most wicked cars of all time. Nothing cooler than a 70 or 71 triple black Cuda'. Especially if it has the almighty Hemi! I fell in love with those cars, when I saw the Phantasm horror movies as a kid. I want a 71 drop top, but I think only 7 made that year

Doc, only my Aunt (whom is very close to me), my brother in law, and my fiance know. Besides if you can't be open with your own fiance/wife, then what kind of relationship is that? I was in some where I couldn't share everything with the person, and it sucks to hold out, and have to be secretive about a big part of your life. Same here........ But me and a friend started together and he told people even after telling him to keep it to ourselves. Dont ask me why because I really dont see the point. Now everyone knows all of us as the juice monkeys I guess. People are too uneducated about steroids in society and they all think its crazy. Hahaha, oh well. Half the town is constantly asking me and my friends where they can get steroids, its pathetic because they never touched a weight in their life and you can tell.

I made the mistake of trusting two of my closest friends that I grew up with, and amazingly they both atacked me and told me how i was gonna die and all that nonesense.... which totally amazed me because they were both sipping on beers and smoking their dope like they do EVERYDAY! I got the whole fucking lecture and no matter how much reason I sent their way, they werent buying it. Funny thing is they asked me if i was on some shit and this was before I even started(it was on the way), but I figured I could tell them and I hate lying to my friends about anything - especially my really close friends...

so seeing how that turned out, I told myself not to say shit to any of my friends or aquaintances unless i KNOW they have done the shit themselves, because then they would at least not judge me and preach to me.... Well that to was a mistake, because this guy I use to work with(a pretty close friend as well) asked me about it and I figured I could talk to him about it since I knew he had done several cycles before.... The problem with that is, this company is like a small town and shit spreads like a wildfire there(even though there are 3000 workers there), unbelievably fast! Well ever since I told him, I have had people coming out the woodworks beating around the bush about how they want to get some Winny, some test, some deca, etc......as if i am a dealer! and I participate in all the sports leagues there and when i see people that I havent seen in over a year, the 1st thing that comes out there mouth is "what are you taking"??? which i guess they might say anyway, since I have put on some size since they last saw me, but I still hate having to lie to people that i know.... so from now on I am just going to plead the 5th and say as little as possible and that includes EVERYONE!!!! Because people cannot keep their fucking mouths shut - but that all started with ME
so basically you did the right thing, just keep telling them to eat and train, which we all know is half the truth anyway!

one of my close friends and roommates kinda walked in on me during my injection (bathroom door has a busted lock, so he kinda just walked in on me), one time a few years ago. he was kinda wierd about it, like most peoples parents would be, but it only took me to mention how he stuffs coke up his nose in buckets, and chmps down on E like its candy, for him to realize that he was being a hypocrite. i havent told anyone since. not even my girlfriend of 6 years. she has mentioned that (when i was on) i was getting bigger, quicker, but i just told her if she took a look at what i was taking (creatine, l-glut, high protein + carbs etc etc)/eating/sleeping/and how i was training, anyone could do it. that usually keeps people off of my back.

Im 19 and on college right now, when i fitness at school, they always ask me if i take some shit, they are telling me this all the time, WHILE I WASN'T ON STERIODS!
I just started last week.

And when im taking almost all the plates on a biceps thingie, i often get people who say: I have never seen somebody doing so much!

This also played a roll beginning steroids, some people think I use it already anyway...

but its kinda funny, my friends want me to start. theres this one guy we went to school with. he's huge - a bouncer, has tons of hot bitches all over his dick, and they just think this kid is god
so they figure a couple injections and i'll be just like him.

i've tried to explain it, they just dont listen, they think its magic and you can just go party and drink everynight and get ripped.

as for most people though, they do think its SO evil, and it will shrink ur dick and u'll die from it
