My severance would be reduced by the amount of $$$ I would earn at a job.....I'll be OK not working & taking the severance....company policy tho I have to apply for unemployment 1st.....

Personally, I'd rather have the time off.....

I had a 6 month severance package. I took the full 6 months to re-energize and recharge before starting in a new adventure.
