i get a pain when i lift

when i do incline press i get a pain in my shoulder...i've had it for quite a while now and tend to shy away when the pain begins. it's almost like i have tendonitis of the shoulder or rotator cuff - if that's possible.

i'm wondering what other excercises can i do to stimulate growth in the upper chest area.

Do some rotator cuff excersices on chest and shoulder days. Should help keep your shoulder joints strong and prevent tendonitus...
I have shoulder problems too... I now use the hammerstrength incline chest press machine to work my upper chest.. doesn't work quite as well as dumbells, but it doesn't really bother me that much
