In the UK there is such an acute lack of police officers anyway, that if u were to say Mr X is smoking cannabis in his home the chances of the police bothering to look is minimal.. in fact, we has a joy rider drive up and down the street one night randomly crashing into cars for about 2 hours... police were informed dozens oif times.. but said it wasn't a priority.. I expect law is differnt in the states i.e. more cops and less tolerance?

When I mentioned a selling a gun to a felon it was not to state going out and killing someone.

It is the illegal act of selling the gun, just like selling or possessing drug paraphenalia.

If he got nine months, he probably had some drugs with him or residue on the bongs. And he also must have done some other things. We don't have the whole story, just what Cnn tells us.

As far as changing the law, that will never happen. And if drugs were legalized we would be awash with lawsuits, increased crime etc. Not because any drug is a gateway drug, because the effect some of the drugs have on people such as crack, pcp, meth, heroine, etc.

People are inherently self-destructive and if we are given the tools we will accomplish that with great skill and determination.
