they are a elite group designed to be able to drop in a clear drop zone then be able to get to there destination that could be 20-50 miles away as fast as posable.

you can only drop 5000 troops in a clear area and that area is never were they need to be so they have to run the rest of the way.



yes I went from 230 to 145 in about 4 months of training.you will lose a lot of wheight at first and prob never get it back if your in a active air born unit,but if you are not air born then its no problem

To clarify... Airborne RANGERS are elite.

Any MOS can go to jump school... doesn't mean they are elite.
